Barkdoll Field [7 Images]
This is our baseball field, one of the original facilities, named recently in honor of a life long resident of Greencastle, Charles "Whitey" Barkdoll, who was active in baseball his entire life and longtime member of our Board of Directors. Home field for Greencastle-Antrim High School Blue Devils varsity, American Legion Post 373 and Blue Ridge Adult League Greencastle Athletics.

Basketball Courts [2 Images]
We have two basketball courts located on North Carlisle Street near the main entrance. The newer court is regulation size and the older court is slightly smaller.

Eagle Scout project [45 Images]
Jacob Horejs of Boy Scout Troop 99 elected to plan, design, raise funding and direct construction of six picnic tables for the playground as his Eagle Scout project. As you can see in this photo album he was very successful. The playground officers and directors are very grateful to Jacob, his fellow Troop 99 members and parents.

Fun Day 2009 [59 Images]
This year Fun Day was held on Saturday, August 1st. We regestered 373 children for the event. We thank all those in attendance. This was our most successful ever.

Main Entrance [2 Images]
Our main entrance is located on North Carlisle Street and still retains some of the original features.

Pavilions [5 Images]
These facilities are used regularly for family reunions, church picnics, family picnics, birthday parties, company picnics, organization picnics, etc. Reservations can be made by calling (717) 597-3216.

Play Areas [5 Images]
These areas have been set aside for the enjoyment of the children who visit the playground.

Softball and Soccer Field [1 Image]
This area is located at the north end of the playground on North Carlisle Street and is used for softball practice and games, youth soccer practice and games as well as for a variety of other activities.

Tennis Courts [3 Images]
We have four lighted tennis courts. Two are located near the south end of the playground and two are located near the north end of the playground

Veterans Memorial Bandshell [1 Image]
This is our bandshell, built in 1956, located in the Nelson area of the playground. Available for a variety of events such as concerts, theater productions, dances, etc.
